BRM
Shaping the future of research leadership.
A transformative program for professionals expected to lead, govern, and transform biomedical and clinical research.
The Executive Master in Biomedical Research Management (BRM) is an advanced postgraduate program designed for professionals who aim to lead, govern and transform biomedical and clinical research in an increasingly complex and global environment.
Developed by Humanitas University, in close collaboration with Assobiotec, the Executive Master is part of an innovative educational framework designed to go beyond traditional academic models. It operates within an integrated ecosystem that brings together universities, hospital-based research and industry expertise, creating a continuous exchange of knowledge and professional networks.
Students are equipped to lead across sectors — hospital-based research centres, biotech and pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, CROs, or health regulatory bodies.
The Program combines scientific expertise, regulatory strategy, digital innovation and leadership skills to prepare participants for senior roles across academic, clinical and industrial research environments.
Spanning every dimension of modern clinical research, from study design and regulatory submission to quality oversight and organisational governance.
Modules on AI in research, decentralised trials, and data science applications prepare students to lead in a digital, globally regulated environment.
Direct access to a living biomedical research environment where education, clinical practice, and research governance are fully integrated.
Where education meets clinical excellence
The program is structured over 12 months, awarding 60 ECTS, combining a blended learning model with 6 core modules delivered remotely, interactive online activities, and on-campus intensive specialization tracks.
These topics are addressed from a strategic, regulatory, and implementation perspective, focusing on how they are governed, validated, and integrated into real research programmes.
Students work on strategic, real-world projects in partnership with clinical, regulatory, or industrial organisations, delivering actionable insights. The project work is carried out under academic and/or industrial supervision.
The program is delivered by a multidisciplinary faculty composed of leading academics and industry professionals:
